The Academy, despite the importance of the word, in ancient times above all, defines it indirectly, by the quality ofhonest: the immodest and in new remission, the lacking of honesty (v.). I «Moreover, with extreme ease, the not as seen here —or disagreement, for the voice principal here— with the reason or ideas received as good, which already implies a lot of relativity, and even transparency of temporality. I Finally, as old-fashioned - which we personally reject, given its validity as dishonesty—, the indecorous, the rude and the discourteous (this is already outside the use current)".
Luis Alcalá-Zamora completes his previous assessments by summarizing dishonesty "as shamelessness, immorality and lust, in an escalation of sexual abandon."
In itself and as sexuality punishable dishonesty has repercussions on the crimes of indecent assault, adultery, corruption, rape, abduction, insult to modesty and violation (v.).
